Welcome back to the blog and happy holidays! I feel that the holidays are for slowing down, they're for some more coziness and more self-care. For today's post, I'm sharing 3 cozy habits to enjoy the holiday season and to take care of yourself even more on a daily.

Have a warm and comforting beverage

After a long day of school, I love coming home and having a warm cup of tea or treating myself to a hot chocolate. Warm beverages, especially during this time of the year, are so comforting, make me feel relaxed, and truly do boost my serotonin level. I'm a tea lover, and my latest favorite has been some yummy english breakfast and masala chai :)

Spend time outside

The fresh air outside always makes me feel good. It's good for my mental health, my mood, it boosts my happiness and serotonin. Especially during this time of the year, I love seeing the holiday decorations in the city and soaking up all the goodness that nature has to offer!

Create a self-care routine for yourself

Establishing a self-care routine is so crucially important for your mental wellbeing to prevent anxiety and feeling overwhelmed. Designating time to just relax and take care of yourself will make you feel calm and relaxed. My evening self-care routine entails taking a warm shower, doing my skincare, watching a comforting movie or show with family or solo, putting on some essential oil, perhaps doing some stretching to increase the blood flow and decrease tension, and working on my blog. Doing these things make me feel so good, and I'm truly taking care of my mental and physical wellbeing.

As the winter season approaches, remember to integrate some more cozy vibes into your daily life, and establish a routine and some daily habits that allow for zen.
